ABDP-All Boys Dance Program

Formed and specifically designed for DA BOYZ! Uniform: white t-shirt,pants, and a hoody sweatshirt (optional), no jeans. A program for all boys who enjoy rhythms, drums, music, and making lots of noise!

Prop Design

A performance is not just about the dancing! Discover what goes on behind the scenes in this introductory course that teaches students the art of prop and set design. Students will experience the creation of images, scenes, and props that relate to performance, movement, and music.

Musical Theatre

The Musical Theatre class is one of our 6-week session classes. Each session will cover a different Broadway musical. Students will study prop design, lyrics, dances, performances styles, and the historical background of the show. The class helps develop memory, movement and language skills through performance.

Baila Conmigo

Es un programa de baile que dura 6 semanas como los demas programas. Este programa es bilingue y esta disenado para estudiantes que hablan espanol. Sera ensenado por la maestra de baile Lily y su ayudante Claudia.

Staccato Performing Arts Company

An artistic experience for the whole family. Placement auditions are held in September. At least one member of each family must be a student of Allegro Dance Studios LLC. The goal of the company is to present artistic performances through Dance, Music, and Theatre, to the local community.

* The Apprentice Program

For ages 8-11, this program is for the enthusiastic, dedicated and younger students who are eager to experience a more intense dance education. They are invited to join the Staccato Performing Arts Company, they will participate in making props for future performances, and they will work on decorative activities for the studio once a month. No experience is necessary for this program and acceptance is by interview with the potential apprentice and his/her parent or guardian.

* The Intensive Program

Designed for the more serious dance student, ages 12 and up, the Allegro Intensive Program offers students a well-rounded experience as a dancer. Students will be members of Staccato, our resident dance company, they will have assistant teacher duties once a week, and all are eligible to take our Intensive Classes offered weekly in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, and Hip Hop. A one year minimum of experience is required and admission is by an audition and interview with the student and his/her parent or guardian.
