Lillian Freeman - Director
Lillian grew up in central New Jersey and has been studying dance since the age of eight. She attended Serova Dance School and The New Jersey School of Ballet. A Dance major, with concentrations in Music and Theater, she earned a BFA from Kutztown University. She held a position as Interim Professor at Kutztown University and has instructed in private studios for more than ten years. Her choreography has been performed at The Magic Kingdom, in Walt Disney World, for National Tap Dance Day, at Cedar Crest College, and for Disney’s Cinderella’s Kids, at Brandywine Heights Middle School. She is the owner of Allegro Dance Studios in Emmaus, PA.
This will be Jenna’s first year teaching at Allegro. She has been dancing for over fifteen years. Jenna is currently pursuing a career in the entertainment industry at DeSales University, which includes Film and Dance. She is former president of In the Mix Dance Company, in which she travelled and was mentored by professional dancers, including choreographers from So You think You Can Dance. In 2007 and 2008, Jenna acted as a Junior Outlaw Dancer. She also took many classes in NYC at Broadway Dance Center. She attended the VMA’s in 2009, The Sex and the City 2 Premiere, and was taught by the Radio City Rockettes. Her recent auditions include Glee and Disney. Jenna has been teaching dance for four years and recently started helping kids audition for Lehigh Valley Charter School of the Arts. Her dance training includes Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Hip-Hop, Contemporary & Gymnastics.
Kimberly Patterson is a graduate of DeSales University and holds a Bachelors Degree in Dance. Kimberly during her career has taught both adults and children in many styles of dance. She has taught in NY, NJ, Australia (where she lived abroad for four years) and now Pennsylvania. She is currently teaching at Allegro Dance Studios in Emmaus and also a Toddlers and Tutu’s ballet class at the Lower Macungie Township Community Center. Kimberly’s career highlights include performing at the opening ceremonies of the Olympic Games in Atlanta, GA. She also choreographed and performed a modern piece for a 60x60 project at the Meadowlands Winter Theatre, NY, NY. She attended the Dance Teacher Summit in NYC this past summer and attends classes at Koresh Dance in Philadelphia in her spare time. Kimberly’s passion for dance also extends to her three little girls who love to dance around the house!
Allegro Dance Studios Alumni Ali Wolf is from Allentown, Pennsylvania. She attended Temple University in Philadelphia and received a degree in Early Childhood Education. Ali was a four year member and captain of the Temple University Diamond Gems Dance Team. She has performed at football, basketball, volleyball games, NCAA tournaments, Bowl games, and UDA Nationals, where her team is currently ranked eleventh in the nation. Ali is beyond excited to be back at Allegro and cannot wait for a wonderful year!
